Setup/Installation: WordPress based blogs – Social Networks Auto-Poster for WordPress
WordPress based blogs use XMLRPC Library for auto-posting. WordPress.com and Blog.com are both based on WordPress.
WordPress Configuration
1. Connect WordPress based blog to your WordPress.
1. Login to your WordPress Admin Panel, Go to the Settings->Social Networks AutoPoster Options.
2. Click green “Add new account” button, select “WP Based Blog” from the list.
3. Fill Login and Password.
4. Enter the URL to the XMLRPC location. Usually, it’s a URL of the destination WordPress installation with /xmlrpc.php at the end.
b. [WordPress.com] Please use http://YourUserName.wordpress.com/xmlrpc.php (replace YourUserName with your username – for example, http://nextscripts.wordpress.com/xmlrpc.php)
c. [Blog.com] Please use http://YourUserName.blog.com/xmlrpc.php (replace YourUserName with your username – for example, http://nextscripts.blog.com/xmlrpc.php)
5. Click “Update Settings”.
2. Your WordPress Based blog is ready to use.
