Facebook Post

There are three ways to fill in the attachment info.

1. Let Facebook do it

If you choose this option plugin will do just nothing. Facebook will get image and fill the title and description by itself.

Facebook will use OG tags. If there are no OG tags, it will use regular metatags and/or just info from your website that it decide is appropriate.

Image – <meta property=”og:image” OR the first available image in the HTML text.
Title – <meta property=”og:title” OR <title> … </title>
Description – <meta property=”og:description” OR <meta name=”description”

2: Plugin/API

If you choose this option plugin will try to fill this info using your WordPress info. At first it will try to take info from your SEO plugins (Yoast SEO, All-in-One SEO, etc..), then it will use your excerpts and/or post text.

Title – SEO info, Post or Page title will be used.
Description – SEO info, excerpt or post text will be used.

3: Fill all the info by yourself

Set how to fill that info by yourself.

Title – will be formatted according to the settings of “Attachment Title Format” field.
Description – will be formatted according to the settings of “Attachment Text Format” field.
